02.02.2016 - DIXCOVE

We arrived last night at this fantastic spot. Good place to relax the next two days on the beach with some coconuts. Even the bikes can rest a bit.

Next morning Bert and me were struggling with the coconuts. Eventually we got a couple of them for drinking and eating. 

Eventually was time to fix my cooker. After some disappointing attempts and dissatisfying results the cooker worked properly. But this is actually the way how this 2. world war cooker worksThe propabely most simple cooker in the world cost many nerves.

Bike check in the morning was successful when I changed the rear brake pads.



Gideon is the lodge builder's son and passed by joining us in the afternoon. I hope he can make his dream come true studying electric engineering in Germany - we need more of these gentle guys!



After hard days at the beach in this dreamlike lodge you need to relax from all the sun, swimming and coconuts.



We went for an one hour boat trip through the mangroves next morning before leaving to Cape Coast.
